Launch and Discussion Event

My daughter Bethan’s death last December was a terrible loss to everyone who knew her. She was not just a hard worker in support of a better world, she was full of warmth and friendliness, and this was never more true than in her work with asylum seekers and refugees.

The Trust we have created in her name is intended, not just to carry on her commitment to justice, but also her spirit of friendship. We’d therefore like the launch event to bring together the refugee and asylum seeker community for a bit of friendly sharing. There will be food and music and conversation. And we hope everyone will share their ideas about what Beth’s Trust can do. We have no firm plans for our activities yet, so please come along and help us work out how to be the most helpful.

I look forward to seeing you at the launch, and working with you as friends in the months and years ahead.
